“Babusgato” Petting Zoo and Animal Park

The petting zoo in Subcetate is located about 20km from Odorheiu Secuiesc. Built on 4 hectares, the park aims to offer visitors a hands-on experience of the animals. Here you can meet the well-known, traditional domestic animals, but in the park you can find some special animals as well that you have only seen on TV or in zoos.
Everyone receives a feeding package on entry. You can feed the animals from the small packages, and the tasty treats will quickly win their trust. Animals are not to be feared, they are used to being around people. Once you have managed to lure them to you, all you have to do is pet them. It's guaranteed to be an unforgettable programme for children. And thanks to the ever-expanding animal population, there's plenty to discover on return visits as well.
In the park, you can see pony, ostrich, guinea pig, donkey, turkey, peacock, deer, rabbit, lamb, goat, piglets, alpaca and even fallow deer. Interaction with animals is also recommended for its therapeutic nature. This is a great programme for the whole family.

For children (03-14 years old): 20 RON
Free for children under 3 years.
